General Description

RIG & SAILS: SLOOP rigged- MAST + BOOM - Anodised aluminium mast, deck stepped with stainless steel pillar in saloon. Twin aft swept spreaders. BOOM: 2 “automatic" reefing lines led back to cockpit - STANDING RIGGING - Discontinuous stainless steel rod rigging. Forestay. 2x forward inner shrouds. 2x backstays. All chain plates are stainless steel + fixed to side decks. Shroud chain plates are fixed to the inner moulding with stainless steel tie rods. - RUNNING RIGGING - Comprises: Low stretch genoa + mainsail halyards. Boom topping lift. 2x genoa sheets. 1x mainsheet with block system. WATER SYSTEM - Draining: Electric sump pumps in head compartments for draining dirty water. Two bilge pumps (one manual and one electric) in a sump over the keel. Fresh water: Electric fresh water pump with expansion tank. 2 water tanks with 540 L capacity; one built in to the inner hull moulding (340 L) and the other rotomoulded (200 L). Electric gauge on electrical panel. Hot water: 22 L electric dual function calorifier (engine heat exchanger and 220 V supply).

TECHNICAL SCHEDULE: CE certification - HULL - The hull is single-skinned GRP construction. Reinforced points (keel, rudder, chain plates, hull-deck joint) help to strengthen the structure. A structural inner moulding is bonded and laminated to the hull. Its structural role is important as it takes and absorbs the stresses at pressure points (shroud chain-plate tie rods, keel, rudder, etc.), and spreads any loads guaranteeing reduced strain on the hull. The surface of the inner moulding makes cleaning easier and provides a better finish. - DECK - The deck is sandwich construction (glass fibre and balsa) for an optimal strength/weight ratio and excellent thermal and sound insulation. A “diamond point" non-slip surface increases safety over all areas of movement on deck - HULL / DECK JOINT - The hull/deck joint is secured by a teak bulwark, which is bonded and screwed. KEEL - The keel are cast iron with space for a sump. To improve their durability the keels are given an anti-corrosion treatment and improved finish in the factory before assembly, using epoxy based coatings and paint. The keels bonded and through-bolted to a stainless steel backing plate in the hull - STEERING SYSTEM - Rudder with composite stock. Stainless steel steering wheel trimmed with leather on pivoting column for easier passage through the cockpit. ON DECK: MOORING AND ANCHORING - Welded stainless steel bow fitting with two rollers. The starboard roller is offset for permanent anchor stowage. 6 x 400 mm aluminium mooring cleats with stainless steel protection on teak capping. Self-draining chain locker with clinch fitting. (= anchor securing point). Protective hatch cover. Horizontal electric windlass with breaker and waterproof 1200W relay housing - PULPIT AND GUARD RAILS - open stainless steel pulpit with teak step and navigation lights. 2x rows of sheathed guardrails supported by 6 single and 4 double stainless steel stanchions. Side openings in guardrails. Bulwark with teak capping surrounds the deck. 2x stainless steel pushpits surround the aft of the cockpit. Lifebuoy holder. COCKPIT - Teak slatted pivoting helm seat for easy access to scoop transom. The cockpit is fitted with five lockers: 2 side + 2 aft lockers with teak slatted lids. 1 separate gas locker. All cockpit bench seats are teak slatted. Leather-trimmed steering wheel, pivoting for easier movement around the cockpit. Engine control lever. Steering compass. Console for navigation instruments. Handrail. Cup holder. 12 Volt socket. Oddments locker with stainless steel protection on the front of the console. The cockpit table is teak with removable leaves. The table support is stainless steel with a footrest. The engine control panel is built in to the port coaming with a protective cover. Overhead lamp. - BATHING PLATFORM AND TRANSOM - Transom: teak covered bathing platform, bathing ladder with teak covered treads. Stowage locker in scoop. Protective rubber rubbing strake to transom. Outboard motor bracket. Cockpit shower.
