General Description

Superb family cruiser, day charter or liveaboard charter! Colin Archer cutter rigged sloop, 15.75m LOA, 4.2m beam, 2.2m draft. Made from rolled steel (6mm) including deck, 9mm stringers, ribs are made from 5mm 90degree angle iron. The keel is made from 12 mm steel with ballast giving 7 tons approx. Bulkheads are steel framed with marine play and teak cladding. Water and fuel tanks are incorporated into the hull and made from steel with additional tanks from stainless steel on deck. 2004:- topsides replated where needed, hull and topsides blasted, epoxy coated and faired. (12 coats) all areas below decks also epoxied.. Refitted in Thailand 2004.

This boat has been very well looked after by the current owner and has been upgraded to it s current multi-purpose specification. The boat has flush decks giving large areas above and below decks, including seating for up-to 16 guests on deck (not including cockpit), 8 seats around a beautiful teak table, and 8 seats on 2 teak topped, auxiliary tanks on the fore-deck. The entire deck is surrounded by a stainless steel guard rail making it very safe for both crew and guests alike.

Below decks there are up to 10 berths available in 4 cabins (including saloon), a large galley with full oven facilities, double sink and drainer and lots of stowage, nav station, and head, all fitted out in teak and recently refinished. The engine room contains a Cummins 4B 3.9M (80hp) in good working order, a 5kva 240vac alternator and high output 12vdc manually controlled alternator.

The boat comes with a 3.8m RIB for up to 8+ people, 15hp Yamaha Enduro and 5hp spare, all in good condition. On the aft-deck there is a large stainless steel BBQ, dinghy davits, a bimini with lighting a music speakers, a stamoid awning running forward to the mast giving ample protection from rain and sun. The current owner has enjoyed 10 years of cruising and chartering in Africa and SE Asia and is only offering the boat for sale because of other business commitments.
