1955 CHRIS-CRAFT Capri, Here is a great find. She is a 1955 Chris-Craft 19 Capri. She has been in storage since 1985. The bottom has been redone in 5200 style. The job looks all correct and professional and a survey would be welcomed. The original motor was the KBL 131. There now is a Chrysler Crown RF and she does turn. She was sold new to a dealership in Greensboro Nort Carolina. The interior upholstery is all original and in excellent condition. All the chrome is all there and in good contition. The rear stern staff is missing and the bow staff is not correct. These items are available. She is hull number CP-19-078. Number 78 built out of 786. The hullsides are in excellent condition. The topsides are also good. There are some cracks in the deck planks behind the windshield as well as the king plank. To be truly excellent looking the deck planks should be replaced and the complete boat stripped and refinished. This is a great boat for the restorer or the owner who wants a head turning user vintage Chris-Craft. The trailer is also included.
