General Description

CCYD yachts are well known around the world for their customization , high-quality build and ingenious methods of design which are not often found on conventional yachts of today .
Built by a Venetian team of shipwrights and built in Venice these Schooners were built to meet the requirements the most refined customers

This CCYD was vessel built in 1983 and offers a real sailing enthusiast advance sail plans an unusual high level of comfort and finish with the assurance that only high-quality materials were used in the construction. When launched CCYD yachts carried Lloyd s register of shipping and Class certificates 100 A1 and L.M.C Maltese Cross.

The mechanical side of this yacht is a feature that really sets her apart from the normal conventional yacht of today . Twin diesel Perkins engines of 72 hp each given an easy 8 knots cruising speed or redundancy with a 1200NM range. Along with this feature is a hydraulic lifting keel with 1.5 m up and 2.2 m down which allows this 55 foot yacht to explore where only catamarans of this size are able.

This vessel contains a comprehensive inventory throughout and a range of electronics for world cruising and navigation. There are twin helm stations. Located in the pilot house /saloon and on the aft deck . The aft deck helm station is separate from the main entertainment and dining area on deck.

The sail configuration will be welcomed by short handed sailors.

The two deck step masts are powered by hydraulic furling as is the genoa and cutter or staysail . The sheets are trimmed by electric winches and the ground tackle and windlass is extensive and oversized.

On deck the teak is in fantastic condition and suits the pedigree and style of this steel Italian yacht.

The interior layout boasts a full beam aft cabin with ensuite and plenty of hanging space and storage. Pilot berths on port and starboard side would be great for small children. Moving forward to the longitudinal galley which is set down away from the salon contains large refrigeration, cook top ,microwave oven , washing machine and deep double stainless steel sinks. Water capacity is 2700 litres. This saloon and pilot house is enormous with an interior finish of a very elegant Sapele mahogany and Briar. This sort of finish is normally seen in high-end European cars.. Moving forward and stepping down to twin guest cabins and ensuit all with an abundance of storage. Forward of this area is a large storage hold which could be converted and was an option for a crew cabin that the owners tend to use as a storage area for long-range cruising.

This CCYD has an inventory that truly suits word cruising on any latitude. She has done many miles with her owner who is a very experience foreign going master and is ready for another chapter with her new owners. While she does not present like she once did and many miles have been covered an inspection will reveal that this CCYD was built to a high standard and will welcome new owners and enthusiasm to bring this CCYD yacht to a condition where she once was.
