Description Under the direction of Jon Bannenberg, the main saloon was transformed and now offers a variety of possibilities for relaxation. The large comfortable sofas are a focal point. However, for those who crave solitude there are also corners for playing cards or writing letters.

The mahogany theme is felt throughout the yacht. The dramatic combination of the dark wood and cream furnishings is most evident on the lower deck where the master cabin and two guest cabins are located. The fourth guest cabin is located on the main deck. There is an additional fifth cabin on the upper deck.

Space and more space is how one would describe the Esterel 45’s top deck. The cascade of sun cushions leads onto a huge deck area where a great number of guests can relax and dine informally.

The comfortable seating, designed for flexibility, is easily adapted to a variety of layouts. All stanchions fold to cater for helicopter landing.

Built She was built by Chantiers Navals de L’Esterel, Cannes, France in 1985; the undisputed leaders in wood construction. Designed by Jon Bannenberg with naval architect Andre Mauric. Restyled by Jon Bannenberg in 1990. Interior by Jon Bannenberg. Hull construction triple planked mahogany. Classified by Bureau Veritas. Her mahogany hull, in addition to being immensely strong, absorbs vibration and sound, enhancing the pleasure of cruising speed in safety and comfort.

Her exciting profile and varished mahagony hull makes her an impressive sight. Heads turn when she speeds to port at 30 knots.
