General Description

General Comments:
This vessel is a full displacement West Coast Trawler that would make an excellent Live Aboard or Dive Boat.
Accommodation:
Vessel has 3 bunks in the bow section, one of which is a very comfy and large single (has slept 2 adults on many occasions). Another is a good single bunk, although some find the headroom lacking (18" from top of foam + bottom of beam). The bottom bunk is great for kids being just over 60" long and goes for 6" to 78" wide.
Between the bow section and the engine area are 2 more sleeping spots that we use when necessary. They are usually used for storage. One is a small double and the other great for 1 child/small adult.
The Aft lounge converts into a comfy double stateroom. Alaskan diesel heater (Dickenson) in aft lounge. There is also a Webasto 26,000 Btu forced air furnace.
Galley:
Galley is equipped with a Fridge/Freezer, Magic Chef propane oven c/w 3 burners, Paloma Hot Water, Plenty of Cupboard space.
Mechanical:
Vessel has a Volvo TMD70A Diesel, Wet exhaust, Capitol gear 2.1 to 1, 2" S. Steel shaft turning a 32'' 3 blade wheel, 2 Station steering, Wagner hydraulic steering, Dahl primary fuel filter, Plenty of space in the Engine room. 110v engine pre-heat.
Deck:
Vessel comes with a 12v Fisherman style on deck winch c/w 100' rode, 125' 3/8" chain and 50lb Danforth anchor, Hot/cold water at aft deck (great for scuba divers), Salt water wash down on aft deck. Swim Grid, Electro system propane sniffer c/w auto-shut off at the valve.
Electrical:
12v/110v electrics, Trace inverter/charger (1500 watt inverter + 70 amp charger), 2 8-D's and 4-4D's (1 8-D for start, rest for house).
Electronics and Navigation:
Apelco 8 mile radar, VHF, Marine Tek maxim sounder, Aqua meter compass.
Other:
The Snowbird is hauled out annually, typically doing standard paint and zincs. In 2000 all the thru hulls + valves were replaced, going to ball values, and had the shaft pulled and turned on a lathe. Inspected the cutlass bearing etc. The wheel was also inspected inspected. All was in good condition and reinstalled c/w engine alignment. All the planking is in good condition above and below the water line.
