General Description

Once the biggest builder of pleasure motoryachts for the US market, Bayliner yachts are built for longevity and comfort. The Bayliner 4788 pilothouse was one of their most popular designs and you can see why. Very spacious for a 47 foot boat with two double cabins and one twin with two large heads, the owners cabin fwd ensuite has a 3/4 size bath! The large L shaped salon to starboard and the well equipped galley to port are cleverly designed to create one big living area.
The pilothouse is on one level up from the saloon and holds a small lounge with table behind the helmsman who's driving position is behind a large dash running almost the beam of the boat which has ample room for the well equipped electronic nav gear. The visibility from this driving position is excellent. The well shaded fly bridge is entered from the pilothouse or from the aft deck and has the helm to port with a lounge for up to 6 people just aft and to strb, the electric davits aft hoist the 3m dinghy up to the fly bridge which could easily be converted into a sun mattress or entertaining area.
