General Description

The Westsail 32 is a heavy-displacement sailboat designed for ultimate seaworthiness. She is heavily constructed, and designed with a comfortable and roomy 2 cabin interior which suits perfectly a couple or small family to go blue water sailing for a relatively small investment. These boats carry great re-sale value and are one of the few yachts that are worth more now than when they were built back in the mid 70's. Lona is a well looked after example of these popular yachts with loads of inventory and all the gear ready to set sail again.
A two cabin yacht with a pilot berth so can effectively accommodate 6 people if required. Down below she offers a U shaped galley to port the chart table to strb and the head fwd of the saloon aft of the v berth. A classic combination that just simply works well and has been repeated in hundreds of yachts since. On deck she has a good sized cockpit with tiller steering and a boomkin out the back that protects the skeg hung rudder and houses the monitor wind vane. The decks are teak laid which is perfect for this traditional old girl and have large enough side decks that you can get around with ease.
